Ashley Beedle (aka The Crazy Gods, Daddy Ash & Urban Bushmen - born 25 Nov 1962, in Hemel Hempstead, UK), is a DJ & producer. He made the leap from music lover to DJ, in the early 1980s, when British disc jockeys started playing disco & house music records over, Jamaican, sound-systems. London's melting-pot of cultures provided the young Beedle with a wide interest, in reggae, soul music, techno & jazz.
Beedle's first big musical project, Black Science Orchestra, reworked old disco songs, into house tracks, which were readily accepted by US DJs, such as Frankie Knuckles & Masters At Work. Other musical projects include The Ballistic Brothers, X-Press 2 & Black Jazz Chronicles. In the late 1990s, Beedle was a demanded remixer, for mainstream acts, due to his eclectic output.
Currently, Beedle remains an active DJ and, in production, focuses on X-Press 2 & solo works.
