DESCRIPTION:
Deep House / Prog House - 26 years on from its first release and after various recent licensing requests - we have a limited reissue of this sought after deep classic.

Remastered for modern floors with the original '97 artwork.

Having dipped into the label's bulging archives earlier in the year to offer up a freshly remastered edition of 'Klarky Kat' by Gumbo (a rare collaboration between label bosses Attaboy and Swag's Chris Duckenfield), Toko has returned to the vaults for another essential reissue. 'In Too Deep' hails from 1997, when it marked the fifth release on the Sheffield-based imprint. Reflective of the sound played at legendary Sheffield deep and tech-house party Scuba, the title track is a sultry and saucer-eyed affair, with sustained synth-strings, tactile riffs and luscious melodic motifs wrapping around an hypnotic deep house-meets-tech-house groove. In contrast, 'In Deeper' is a much more minimalistic, tech-tinged affair, close in sound and tone to Swag productions of the period - all deep, undulating bass, effects-laden weirdo noises and locked-in beats.

Named after Alec's Dad's hat company Attaboy is a joint collaboration between label founders Paul Ingall and Alec Greenhough and in house producer Si Brad. Infectious alt-rock band Attaboy boldly blazes forward with a brand new EP and will debut a full-length project in June 2007. The four-piece Indiana band has spent the last two years rocking the Midwest with their passion for music and people, and their ability to create an unforgettable concert experience. Attaboy's versatility continues to impress fans, as they easily jump from searing guitar solo to melodic piano-rock to playful cultural satire in a matter of minutes. In the past year, the band has stretched themselves in new ways, writing some of their catchiest and most focused material to date. Attaboy's diverse influences meld to bring you music that incorporates the energy of Relient K and the early Jimmy Eat World with the innovation of Mae and The Killers. Employing a bold lyrical honesty that hearkens to Switchfoot but with a progressive energy all their own, Attaboy's new musical direction will keep fans coming back for more. According to frontman, Amos Caley, "Today, with all the junk filling the minds of people, young and old, we feel a strong conviction to take our various influences and produce fun, quality music with authentic messages of hope and healing." Amos Caley -- Vocals/Piano Chris Brumbaugh -- Bass Jeff Edgel -- Guitar Micah Beckwith -- Drums 4) Swedish new wave band. This band from Gothenburg only released two 7" singles in 1986-1987.
