Last FM Information on Ashford

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There are multiple artists on Last.fm with the name Ashford: 1.) A British Indie/Grunge Band 2.) A Belgian Indie/Rock Band 1.) Indie/Grunge band from Manchester featuring current and past members of Nai Harvest, Speak Up and Speedboat Salesmen 2.) Ashford is a brand new band from the heart of Europe....namely Brussels. You might ask yourself how a true rock band can rise from the stiff center of European politics. Well so have we and we still haven't found the answer. If you can enlighten us you are most welcome! Getting back on track it is worth adding that Ashford has been hiding in Studio Moliere since 2006. Here the band has been composing, writing and recording material for their upcoming debut album. Ashford's band members previously roamed in the bands velvet8ball, Jigsaw and other projects. The band is influenced by a little bit of everything within guitar-driven music and its members come from all over the place (Belgium, Monaco and Denmark). Ultimately Ashford tries to capture the energy which is demonstrated by bands like The Used, the colour which artists like Bjork bring to music and the rock 'n' roll feeling bands like the Figurines bring to your stereo. Ashford is of course no clone but there is no shame in references as long as one tries to do one's own thing. In light of the bands short history there is not much more interesting stuff to add. Ashford however solemnly swears to avenge this in 2008! It was nice meeting you. You are most welcome to come back to our-space. Read more on Last.fm.
