4 Track EP - Two brand new tracks by Art Of Tones with The Funk District on remix duty. Crazay sounds like the perfect radio tune AND a true dancefloor filler. Boogie disco-influenced House music with the usual AOT extras : fat bassline, funky beats and guitar riffs - and of course, drumfills ! "Not the same" is a great B side, a deep and melancholic disco track.
While much of Ludovic Llorca's output is classy deep house, over the last few years he's offered up a lot more disco and jazz-funk-tinged house cuts. It was this vibe he explored on the debut release from his PALP label - 2021's All Night Brotherhood - and he's at it again on this welcome sequel. The key cut is 'Crazay', a filter-sporting chunk of good-time house music in which vocal samples from a vintage, jazz-funk-disco gem rise above a warm and rubbery house groove. It's available in extended, short and Funk District remix forms, with the latter take offering a woozier, looser deep house take full of drifting Rhodes chords and Niles Rodgers style guitar licks. Bonus cut 'Not The Same', a more explicitly disco-centric chunk of warming dancefloor sunniness, is also well worth a listen.

Art Of Tones is Ludovic Llorca's more edgy and electronic project. Focused on House and Disco music, started as a side project in 2006 with a serie of EP's on UK iconic 2020 vision label, it quickly became Ludovic's highly regarded moniker.
Thanx to "Praise" and "Call The Shots",it immediately received positive feedbacks from well known dj's and got licensed for a plethora of famous compilations (Xpress 2 for NRK's coast to coast, Francois K for Ministry Of Sound's Masterpieces, Renaissance Masters serie). After a couple of EP's on "Room With A view", followed by "Too Much" being ranked in "Resident Advisor's 2011 most played tracks", Art Of Tones EP's on We Play House and DFTD records topped electronic music platforms' charts for weeks.
Ludovic then started a faithful collaboration with Fred Everything's Lazy Days label and Local Talk Records, with a bunch of successfull EP's. Among them, "The Rainbow Song" was a massive House-music anthem, playlisted and charted everywhere, aswell as one of Local Talk Records best sell, and "Art Of Tones Collection" was the perfect summary of Ludovic's work on Lazy Days.
Following a long list of EP's and remixes on various labels (Toytonics, Monoside, Papa Records, Wonderwheel, Shadeleaf, House Of Disco, Glitterbox...) Ludovic has released his first Art Of Tones album "Unbalanced" in december 2018, and since then, has been remixing for many labels (Toytonics, Jalapeno, MoodFunk, AtJazz Record Company, Dirtcrew...) and artists (Izo Fitzroy, Da Lata, Sebb Junior, Flevans, S3A, Kapote, Reel People...)
