Stepping out of the lab for the first time since his second volume of Colundi Sequence techno was submitted, Simulation X is a continuation of Aleksi's research into near pitch perfect sequencing of his trademark Pan Sonic style glass structure chords and rolling atom particle techno.
Carrying the same weightless dynamics of previous Colundi levels, opener '124C70 133.75' carries an almost UKG as imagined by SND style swing to the arrangement, while '128C70 123.7' could be a soundtrack to some haunted robot nightclub devoid of all human life, whilst '214HII 133.594' turns to more hardcore-indebted waters by tunneling deep into more Caustic Window style territories.Sampler for the upcoming Simulation album

Hailing from Finland, Aleksi Perälä's career in electronic music began in the mid-80s when discovered the wonders of acid-house. However, his real epiphany came later in 1993 when he first heard the music of Richard D. James aka Aphex Twin whilst in Michigan, USA, as an exchange student. Unsurprisingly, the influences of that master of avant-garde electronica shine through on "Project V" as Perälä takes us through his latest creations.
