There are at least six artists who go by 'Yana': [1] Japanese vocalist yanaginagi (やなぎなぎ) who also goes under the name of nagi. Member of the SENTIVE sound production unit. [2] YANA is the one-man project of Jay Schleidt, commonly seeing collaborators joining the mix. Jay utilises drones, found sounds, samples, electronic blips and bloops, and a whole array of other attributes to make his lo-fi sound. Jay also runs the Darbolistic Rex media label, based out of Iowa. [3] Yana is a Romanian pop trio. [4] Korean saxophonist YANA (야나). [5] Brazilian black metal band (Yana was an one man band, but nowadays, it isnt an one man band) by Leonardo Vieira Guedes aka Lorde Anticristo (06.01.2005 - 17.08.2023) who has also worked with the brazilian vampiric black metal band Werwulf [6] YANA (Joanna Bieńkowska) - instrumentalist and composer based in Gdansk, Poland. As a classicaly trained violinist, during the studies, YANA has started to write songs, but especially instrumental pieces.
