Whigfield is an Italian dance music project fronted by Danish singer, songwriter, and record producer Sannie Charlotte Carlson (born April 11, 1970), who has also performed under the stage names Sannie and Naan. The act is primarily known for the 1993 single "Saturday Night," which gained international popularity in 1994. While based in Italy, Carlson worked with Italian producer Larry Pignagnoli. "Saturday Night" reached the top five in Italy, and the single "Another Day" peaked at number three in the country. Other singles, including "Sexy Eyes," "Another Day," and "Think of You," charted in multiple markets, with "Another Day" and "Think of You" entering the top ten in the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway, and Denmark. Carlson participated in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2018 with the song "Boys on Girls" but did not advance to the superfinal. Read more on Last.fm.
