Releases by quell
There are at least three acts that share the name Quell.
#1: Tsukino Project unit with seiyuus, Nishiyama Koutarou, Takeuchi Shunsuke, Nogami Sho and Nakamura Shugo. They debuted in 2016.
#2: Cleveland powerelectronics act active from 1993 through 2002 consisting of full-time member Jason Quell (keyboards, vocals) and Bob Quell (guitar), who went from full-time to part-time after moving to Detroit in 1998.
#3: Post-Rock-influenced Shoegaze duo from Oregon that formed through Tyler Richardson's solo EP project in winter of 2014. Hakeem Hashash joined later on to write drums for the instrumentals that Tyler had written and recorded in Hakeem's studio, and the EP ended up becoming an 8-track album. Quell is currently working on their sophomore album.
#4: Mathcore/Metalcore act that formed in 2001. Before they were called Quell they were A Kiss Before Dying, and were--at one point--on the list to play Ozzfest. Prior to that they were called Andreas Truth. Quell won showcase performance slots at MacRock (Mid-Atlantic College Radio Conference- James Madison University) and shared spotlight stage with Converge. Quell did several tours across the USA as well.
During their short life they shared the stage with many popular artists, such as Poison The Well, Unearth, Sworn Enemy, Dillinger Escape Plan, All Else Failed, Darkest Hour, Today Is The Day, Caliban, The Red Chord, Majority Rule, Between The Buried and Me, Undying, Dying Fetus, Ion Dissonance, and many others.
