As the music industry looks to the underground for the next trend to hit the mainstream, its ears are automatically drawn to the new sound of M.K.1. Fusing heavy Dubstep, with commercial production, rap and female vocals, M.K.1 brings many influences together to create an absolutely unique and fresh sound. Unlike many acts who are incorporating Dubstep into their sound, M.K.1's sound is based predominantly on Dubstep, staying loyal to their roots whilst opening their music up to the mass market with tracks aimed at mainstream radio. The group comprises of Charlie (female singer/rapper), Simeon (male rapper) ,Vendetta (producer/singer) and Chevy-One (producer/DJ) with all the writing and production done solely by the four. Out of the studio and on stage M.K.1 deliver a live show incomparable to any other. Vendetta/Chevy-One provide live Dubstep from a collection of decks, synths and laptops, Simeon spits verses and hypes the crowd whilst Charlie fronts the group with her catchy rap sections and huge vocal hooks. Due to the music being essentially 'live' , M.K.1 have a substantial edge over other acts bringing a highly energetic and credible live show to audiences. Individually and as a group, M.K.1 have rubbed shoulders the biggest names on the Urban Scene, sharing stages with the likes of N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah, Chipmunk, Aggro Santos and Skepta just to name a few. They have also headlined famous venues such as Ministry Of Sound, Pasha and the Oceanas around the UK to audiences in their thousands. Currently doing collaborations with MC DT (Pied Piper), Lazee, Gracious Kay and having their material remixed by Shy FX and Sy and Unknown, M.K.1 will be hitting the market with a variety of material connecting with their underground roots but also smashing their way into the UK commercial charts.
