Releases by metroplex
Metroplex are a three piece Post-Hardcore/Emo band from the Philadelphia Area. Their sound is deeply rooted in mid-to-late 90s Emo/Post-Hardcore/Punk, most notably; Hot Water Music, Jawbreaker, Texas is the Reason, and, Samiam (you can also hear aspects of Lifetime and Fugazi). They have been playing together for around ten years, and in their most active period toured parts of the US and played often in Philadelphia at The Khyber (which is now a restaurant and no longer puts on shows), The North Star Bar, and other Philadelphia/Philadelphia area venues. They have a strong local following due to their intense live shows, sense of humor, accessibility to fans, stage banter, and the sucess of member's former band Krhissy
Metroplex has released two full lengths and one EP.
