Masai was a NWOBHM band active in the 1980's. The Hampshire, UK band formed in the late 70's and released their debut EP "April Fooled" in 1980. Their first and only full-length "Good Boys Never Grumble" was released in 1982 on Turbo Records. After the 'split' of MASAI, they later resurfaced as the more mainstream acts THE STORM with Clyde Ward, Ben King, Chris Pope and Matt Jessop who joined on synths. Masai was a pop-rock duo from the UK, made of Anna Crane and Sharon Amos, who met in 1994 while at University. Their name is inspired by Africa. They were support acts for Steps and Westlife and their debut album, Heaven & Hell, never materialized until 2011 when it was digitally released for the first time following it being shelved in the early 2000s.
