1 - Kikka (Kirsi Hannele Sirén October 26, 1964 Tampere - December 3, 2005 Nokia) was a popular Finnish pop/schlager singer. Kikka's best-known songs were Mä haluun viihdyttää (I want to entertain), Sukkula Venukseen (a shuttle to Venus), Tartu tiukasti hanuriin (grab firmly the accordion) and Apinamies (apeman). The peak of Kikka's popularity was in the late 1980s and early 1990s when she earned three platinum records and two gold records.
2 - Kikka is an Eurodance project of S.A.I.F.A.M. Publishing Group. It was fronted by many female vocalists over the years.
The production team involved a lot of different producers. Among them: Mauro Farina, Fabio Serra and Johnny Di Martino (from the Factory Team), Giuliano Crivellente, Ricky Stecca, and Fabio Turatti.
Just like many other projects on the label 21st Century Records (Italy), Kikka released a lot of covers of popular songs. Their first singles "Sweet Dreams" and "Little Bird" were concentrated on Eurythmics and Annie Lennox.
Other notable covers were "Japanese Boy" (by Aneka), "Walking In Memphis" (by Marc Cohn), "How Do I Live" (by LeAnn Rimes), "Little Lies" (by Fleetwood Mac).
