Jobe is the work of Eoin Madsen. From Celbridge in Co. Kildare, Eoin (26) has a background in sound engineering and music technology. The shadow in the sky is the first record in the Jobe project. The shadow in the sky was written and arranged between November 2005 and December of 2008. The recording and mixing of the album took place over 11 months, finishing in late January 2009. While producing the record, Eoin also worked on the album's photography and booklet design, watched approximately four hundred episodes of various television shows, and consumed an estimated 37 kilograms of assorted confectionary products.
