JADE Amelia Thirlwall (born 26 December 1992) is an English singer and songwriter. She rose to prominence as a member of Little Mix, one of the best-selling girl groups of all time. They were formed and won the eighth series of The X Factor UK. As part of the group she has won three Brit Awards — becoming the first girl group to win British Group. They also achieved 19 Top 10-singles and 5 Number 1s on the UK Singles Chart, before going on hiatus in 2022. Thirlwall signed a solo recording contract with RCA Records in 2022. On 19 July 2024, she released "Angel of My Dreams" as her debut solo single and the lead to her upcoming debut solo album. It received widespread acclaim from critics with praise given towards the track lyrics, use of sample, and exploration of different genres. It debuted and peaked at #7 on the UK Singles Charts, becoming the third Little Mix-alumna to score a solo Top 10-hit. It went on to become the only Little Mix-solo single to spend more than one week in the Top 10 and the Little Mix-solo single with the most weeks in the UK Top 40. Read more on Last.fm.
