The Honeyz are an English girl group formed by First Avenue Management, consisting of members Celena Cherry and Mariama Goodman. The group debuted in 24 August 1998 with the single Finally Found, and original lineup consisting of Cherry, Heavenli Abdi, and Naima Belkhiati. Abdi left the group in March 1999 with Goodman joining. The group released another three singles before Goodman left the group in August 2000 with Abdi rejoining. The Honeyz disbanded in 2003, before briefly reuniting with the original lineup in 2005 for ITV's TV show Hit Me, Baby, One More Time, Belkhiati left the group that same year with Cherry's sister, Candace, joining as a performing member. Abdi left the group for a second time in 2006, with Goodman rejoining before they disbanded once again in 2010 due to Goodman's first pregnancy. The group reunited for a second time in 2013 for ITV's TV show The Big Reunion, with the lineup consisting of Cherry, Abdi, and Goodman - Belkhiati decided not take part due to personal reasons. Abdi left the group for a third time in 2014, leaving Cherry and Goodman as a duo for the first time in their career. In 2015, the group released the single Definitely Something.
