(1) Grudge was an American power metal band formed in New York City, New York in 1984. They self-released the LP "Barbarians of the New Earth" in 1986. The band had possible ties to Lords of the Crimson Alliance.

The music of their debut album, Forgiveness, was defined by the rough times they had experienced in their first five years together, when released in 2001. For years, GRUDGE has persisted to remain a dominant name in underground hard rock/heavy metal acts.
