Welcome to ‘GRAFITI’, the transcendent new project from Leama and James Davis.
Leama, known for producing underground hits on labels such as Perfecto Records, Sony Music and Hooj Choons and as one half of 'Leama and Moor', achieved success last year with the album 'Common Ground' and has now teamed up with talented UK based
DJ / producer and promoter; 'James Davis'.
Having realised that they share an analogical taste in both music and production, they rapidly started to gel in the studio.
'We aim to produce great electronic music ranging across various genres that represents our tastes. We are inspired by lots of genres of music anything from House and Techno, to downtempo electronic'.
Already the pair have remixed the classic 'THREE DRIVES - GREECE 2000', 'JOSE GONZALES - DEADWEIGHT ON VELVETINE', new indie-folk band 'THE STEALS' and the massive UK act 'HYBRID'.
Their remix of 'HYBRID - FORMULA OF FEAR', which showcases their more techno side of production, has been receiving major support from some of the worlds leading Dj's including, 'John Digweed', 'Nick Warren' and 'Sander Kleinenberg'. This is due for release on 'Distinctive Records' in October 2008.
Original material includes: 'GRAFITI - 'GHETTOTECH', 'THE STEALS v GRAFITI - SINNER' and the soon to be summer smash, 'GRAFITI - FASCINATED'.
