Releases by dweeb

There are at least two musical groups using the name Dweeb. 1) is an English punk/electronic pop act from the mid-90s. 2) is a Christian punk/rock band. 1) Underated punky pop act from, England. Under all that hypey spikey exterior were well crafted songs that should have been heard more. An influence on Disco Pistol and many others of the Teen Punk explosion of 1996 championed by Steve Lamacq & The NME which rose fron the underground club "Friday night dynamite" run by the infamous Hi-Fi and Kevin Wilde in Covent Garden (FND closed down due to underage drinking, underage sex and general mayhem). 2) Another band by the name of Dweeb is also a popular Christian rock band having recently released a new album 'It Came from Outer Space' (2007) after the success of their two EPs, 'This is not our Shed' and 'Moose Moose Chicken Moose'. Their unique sense of humour really shows in their songs. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
