1) Writer, Canvas, Servant, Speaker. Amour has had an affinity for music all of her life. Her love for classical, rap, rock, worship, gospel, pop, and country shaped her musical tastes early. Daughter of a Pastor, she grew up knowing who God was, but when Amour turned 18, she turned away from Him and began writing and performing non-gospel songs and eventually began experimenting with alcohol and drugs. Amour found herself in an abusive relationship, and in a very dark place; It wasn't until she hit “rock bottom” that she remembered everything she was taught and made a decision to turn her life around and devote it back to Christ. It was then she realized that a relationship with God was a lot more than attending Church. Amour went through a process of becoming healed and discovered that she still enjoyed the art of expression through music, but had a new goal of doing it for Christ and reaching others. Her mission was clear: to re-introduce people to the importance of a relationship with God. March 2012, Amour’s debut album “Armour in the War Zone” was released. July 2012, Amour was featured on Holy-wood Records compilation album and The Cutting Board Compilation hosted by DJ Radikal. Her mixtape, “Fully Dressed” which is a mixture of hip-hop, pop, soul, and rock, was released late October 2012 with over 2,500 downloads the first week. This mixtape was also nominated for two Prayze Factor Awards for Best Holy Hip-Hop and Best Holy Hip-Hop with a featured artist. As of May 2014, she signed a record deal to Tyscot/WarnerBrothers under the management of Holywood Records. She has been honored to share the stage with Flame, J'Son, Young Noah, 300, Big Cleve, True Story, and L.I.F.E. Camp. She has a desire to teach the youth, especially young women self respect and to value themselves. Amour enjoys spending time with her husband and three children and is finishing her degree in Graphic Design and Marketing. She aspires to exhaust the gifts and vision that God has entrusted her with. “I just believe that we should use every bit of our gifts that God has given us while we have a chance.
