DESCRIPTION:
4 Track EP OF Deep Lush Tech / Tech House - Lost Desert returns and he's been hanging out with a bunch of friends. Instead of coffee or sunbathing he wisely spent time in the studio.

This EP is the product of collaboration. An openness to sharing time with friends and family he admires musically and who click when they visit his studio. This time around his studio welcomed Simon Vuarambon, Bona Fide, Amand, DSF and, regular contributor, Lee Burridge. The styles may vary across this five track EP but the essence of Lost Desert is clearly present in each and every track.

Having spent a spell on loan at Russian label Shanti Radio, serial collaborator Patrick Bruyndonx AKA Lost Desert returns to his musical home-from-home, All Day I Dream, with an action-packed EP of joint productions. He first joins forces with regular studio partner Lee Burridge on the tactile, warming and ethereal dancefloor bliss of "Welch", before exploring darker, tech-tinged deep house pastures on Simon Vuarambon hook-up "Earth Before Humans". Over on side B, Bona Fire collaboration "No Strings Attached" is a percussion-rich shuffle infused with glassy-eyed watching-the-sun-come-up-at-a-rave nostalgia, while "That Moment & You", co-produced by Amand, confidently strides towards hypnotic tech-house-meets-deep house territory.

Last FM Information on Lost Desert

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Lost Desert was a French coldwave band, founded in 1986 in the suburbs of Paris, near Versailles. The name of the band was suggested by a friend and appreciated for its mysterious meaning. They found inspiration in bands like The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Bauhaus, but also movies and visual art. Initially, the band was founded by two friends and their younger brothers. Feeling they could improve the vocals, they soon hired a female singer and started to play live in the Paris area, using a 4-track device for recording, usually with a drum machine. Lost Desert released their first cassette "Heterogen Infiltration", an entirely homemade affair, down to the duplication, in 1989. This tape was sold in a few specialized record stores in Paris. A year later, New Horizon released the album "A travers le miroir", featuring both new versions of songs and fresh tracks. Several songs by the band can be found on various tape-only compilations, like: "Nos années folles", "Ineptie", "Mea Pulpa". The last track by Lost Desert was released in 1991 on "Supercherie", when the band didn’t even exist anymore. 2) Lost Desert is a psychedelic rock solo project from Barcelona, Spain. Released the album "Wasteland" in January 2014. Bandcamp page: http://lostdesert.bandcamp.com Read more on Last.fm.
