Known worldwide for his releases on the likes of Tropical Disco and the legendary King Street Sounds, this newly formed label, Soul Departure, was born from the desire to transmit and propose new sounds recalling soul, Afro, jazz and funk, whilst looking out to deep sounds through synergies and musical spirituality.
For this first release, ‘Free Spirit’, Kikko dives into a blissful run of house grooves, boasting collaborations across the EP with Emanuele Del Carmine on keys, Packo Baldassarre on sax and Donny Balice on trumpet. All that talent in the mix, brings true meaning, soul and emotion to the music.
