6 Track Techno EP Originally Released in 1995 -- Back By Demand Rare & Ltd - Portrait Of A Dead Girl 1: The Cause was Dutch producer Ferenc E. van der Sluijs's first record under the I-F name. Released back in 1995 and featuring well-kown tracks like "Envy" and "I Do Because I Couldn't Care Less," it's a classic record in the canon of grimy, Dutch West Coast electro. The 12-inch has been repressed a handful of times, most recently by Disko B in 2010. That version only had four of the original record's six tracks, however. Viewlexx's new issue is the first pressing of the full EP since the '90s.

I-f short for Interr-ference is the Dutch producer, DJ and radio boss Ferenc E. van der Sluijs. First of all Ferenc is a member of Unit Moebius. Seen as one of the initiators of the Italo Disco revival in the late nineties and a major player in Electro and Acid techno. Released on his label Reference Analogue Audio, sublabels Viewlexx, Murder Capital, Holosynthesis and more, active under the names Interr-ference, Ferenc, Beverly Hills 808303 and The Parallax Corporation with Intergalactic Gary.
