There have been more than one band called Forget Me Nots. 1. Forget Me Nots are a Seattle band drawing on indie-pop songwriting through a filter of bluegrass and classical. Judd Wasserman is an ex-member of Olympia's Pasties, and landed a recording and a small role in the documentary film "Kurt Cobain About a Son". Rachel Jacobson-Larson's experience lies in orchestras, rock bands, and musical theatre. The two play as a duo, and with other musicians live, at times as an acoustic band, and at times with drum kit and electric bass. They play all original material. 2. The Forget-Me-Nots were an Irish pop band of the early 1990s. The line-up consisted of Michelle Burrowes (vocals, guitars), Eithne Flynn (vocals, guitars), Maurice McGrath (guitars, keyboards), Justin Healy (drums), and Mark Walsh (bass). Their songs, guitar pop with an acoustic slant, are characterized by two-part female harmonies and at times are reminiscent of Voice of the Beehive. They released the album 'Hullabaloo' on Sony S2 records in 1992; it was partially produced by legendary producer Mitch Easter. Noteworthy songs include "Soap Singer's Beat," "Trouble," and "Jeanine."
