Gordon Edge BORA BORA, IBIZA OFFICIAL RESIDENT Gordon Edge has been DJ’ing, producing records and playing live trumpet at house clubs and events for more than 15 years now. He combines a unique experience of DJing and Live Trumpet to house dance floors world-wide and offers a versatile style and sound that is equally at home when played at some of the biggest clubs in the world or at an intimate party. As a DJ, Gordon has played world-wide including Miami, New York, San Francisco, Japan, China, Ukraine, Canada and 3 NYE tours in Australia, 30+ tours of Russia and all over Europe: Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Lithuania, Holland, France, Luxembourg, Sweden, Spain & including every club possible in Ibiza. As a trumpet player, not only has he played for Sade on her world tour but also for Madonna in Miami and New York at various private parties. It was in 1998 that Gordon took his first visit to Ibiza and along with his trumpet he was invited to play at Pacha, Amnesia, Privilege, Es Paradis and Space Terrace. Although Gordon became famed on the Island for his trumpet playing and more commonly known as 'The Trumpet Man' he has also been DJing in Ibiza for many years & has been invited as a regular guest DJ at Pacha, Space, Privilege, Amnesia, Bora Bora & Penelopes… Also producing tracks that could be heard regularly on the islands dance floors. He's spent his summers in Ibiza and winter seasons in the USA, what a life! During the winters of 1999, 2000, 2001 Gordon took up a residency at BARROOM and 320 in Miami's South Beach giving him yet more time and experience to develop his DJ/Trumpet sets and work on the tan… The last two summer seasons in Ibiza have been taken up by his residence at the infamous Bora Bora beach bar and sets at Pacha Subliminal www.subliminal.com as resident, Space terrace, Eden for Dusted & Monza @ Penelopes at BalearicPeople as resident at many locations round the world, all over Austria, Valencia/Alicante in Spain, Russia: Moscow, St Petersburg, Dubai, Jordan & St Moritz & Pacha in Egypt As a producer Gordon's first 12" production was on virgin10 records in 1988 (Go, Blow). In 1991 he started his own record labels namely EDGE Records, Rabbit City Records and XVX Records and through them has now released over 160 x12" records selling well over half million world wide.
