Last FM Information on Moan

Please note the information is done on a artist keyword match and data is provided by LastFM.
There are at least five artists called Moan: 1) a doom/sludge band from Portland, OR, United States 2) an Osaka-based experimental guitarist whose real name is Shinji Masuko, but uses Moan as a moniker. Masuko is the founder of Japanese psych band DMBQ and guitarist/luthier for The Boredoms. His creative contributions to The Boredoms extends far beyond the guitar, including the design and production of their notorious seven-necked guitars (Sevena I & II) as well as track production and systems design for the groups large-scaled BOADRUM projects. 3) a Dutch rock band (1966-1972) from Arnhem, best known for the fact that it was the first band of future Dutch rock & roll legend, Herman Brood. The band sometimes called itself The Moans or The Moan, but the name Moan appears on most of their single sleeves. After the demise of Moan, Herman Brood moved on to become a rock & roll sensation with Herman Brood & His Wild Romance, whereas other band members carried on as Long Tall Ernie & The Shakers. 4) a brazilian emo band from early 2000's, based in Belo Horizonte. http://moanbh.bandcamp.com/ 5) A progressive/experimental/power trio from San Salvador, El Salvador. Aggressive yet intimate and experimental, Moan is characterized by it’s unconventional song structures. The band has released an EP called "Ciclo" in 2017. Read more on Last.fm.
